The Decision

To abide the time,
or bide my time
and plan a road
to build for an uncertain span-

If life is pain
or avoidance thereof,
I'd like to have a reason
to love the strain-

To love work and wear
eventually is to bear
the same scars as the rest,
but have them wound inside your chest—
(a nest or crown)
